There was busy work going on during the offseason for your Boston Bruins. Firstly, former Hall of Fame Bruin Cam Neely was named the 8th President of the organization. The team also traded Dennis Wideman to Florida for Nathan Horton. The team also renewed their relationship with the Reading Royals of the East Coast Hockey League.

The team, which has begun the season with a 16-10-4 record, are sharing the Northeast Division lead. Defenseman Mark Stuart, who was out with a broken hand, should return by mid-January.
